A race, not a report
The whole program got a pit-crew racing identity: dark circuit backdrop, checkered pace stripe, and cars that advance down the track as participants climb. Standings became something people wanted to check.
Solutions / Johnstone Supply
Johnstone Pit Crew is an internal training and sales competition site I designed and built — a live leaderboard, telemetry-style stats, and a racing track that moves as participants complete training and post results across 32 locations.

The problem
The incentive existed. The visibility didn't. Without a shared scoreboard, a sales competition is just homework with a prize attached at the end.

The moves
The whole program got a pit-crew racing identity: dark circuit backdrop, checkered pace stripe, and cars that advance down the track as participants climb. Standings became something people wanted to check.
The primary CTA on every screen is 'View Leaderboard.' Rankings are the product — everything else on the site exists to get someone there faster.
Locations, leaders on track, race groups, and refresh cadence render as a live circuit-stats strip, so the scale of the program is obvious in the first scroll.
Complete training, improve performance, race to victory. One consistent explanation of how points are earned, so every location plays the same game.
A stated weekly update cadence gives the competition a heartbeat — a reason to come back 52 times a year instead of once at the finish.
